Suburban Cyclists Unlimited is a group of active recreational cyclists who tour the roads and trails of Montgomery, Bucks and Chester Counties and the surrounding suburbs of Philadelphia. Weekend rides are offered throughout the year. Regular weeknight rides are offered from April through September. Bicycling around Manhattan. Setting out from Pier 25 in Tribeca, we ride south around Battery Park, up the East River greenway and through Yorkville to Carl Schurz Park, past Gracie Mansion, past East Harlem along the Harlem River all the way up to Inwood Hill Park where we pick up the Hudson River Esplanade greenway and coast down the west side back to Pier 25. 34 miles in total, takes at least 2 1/2 hours and usually more since we stop for a bagel on the UES.
